Follow your device’s path
On iPhone and iPad, notifications only work from the Home Screen app.
Open shelfspring.com in Safari
This illustrated path uses Safari. If you are inside another app, open the site in your browser first.
Tap Share
Bottom bar on iPhone, top on iPad.
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down if you don't see it.
Tap Add
Keep the name ShelfSpring.
Open it from the Home Screen and sign in
The app has its own sign-in. Same email, same alerts.
Tap “Turn on notifications”, then Allow
The button is on your alerts page. iPhone asks once.
Why does this guide show Safari?
The pictures follow Safari’s Share menu. On iOS and iPadOS 16.4 or later, other supported browsers can also offer Add to Home Screen. Open the installed Home Screen app to enable web notifications.
Does my phone keep checking inventory?
Inventory checks run on our servers. Your browser or Home Screen app handles notification delivery and display.
Email?
No device with notifications on? The alert goes to your email instead.
Several devices?
Sign in with the same email on each. Every device gets every alert.
